Sensors, Surveillance and Biometric Technologies Center of Excellence Announces Oct. 9 Webcast: Mobile Biometrics for Law Enforcement
New York, NY (PRWEB) October 6, 2008 -- International Biometric Group (IBG), on behalf of the Sensors, Surveillance & Biometric Technologies Center of Excellence, is pleased to announce its upcoming webcast: Mobile Biometrics for Law Enforcement to be held this Thursday, October 9th, at 1:00 pm EST. This webcast will provide law enforcement practitioners with current information on mobile biometric technologies, including functionality, standards and applications.
Law enforcement agencies require technology that enables the quick and efficient field identification of persons of interest. Mobile biometric technologies can potentially provide solutions for complex and rapidly changing field requirements. Often times, technology used for law enforcement applications must meet difficult requirements which diverge substantially from other applications of mobile biometric technology.
IBG Consultant Olga Raskin will spend 30 minutes discussing biometric technologies in law enforcement, including topics such as:
