Bash Dibra Partners with Bideawee for the 2008 StarPet Awards National Online Campaign to Find the "Super StarDog" and the "Purrfect StarCat"

New York, NY (PRWEB) July 2, 2008 -- Bash Dibra, animal behavorist, best selling author and celebrity dog trainer has partnered with Bideawee in a nationwide campaign to select the top dog and top cat for the 2008 StarPet Awards. The contest is now open and excitement is building.

Last year, Lassie and Morris the Cat were awarded the StarPet Dog and StarPet Cat awards, but for 2008 the campaign has gone nationwide to all the 48 continental United States. ALL dog and cat owners presiding in these states can submit photos and a video of their pets to www.starpet2008.com to enter the contest.

The public is invited to log on to the StarPet website and vote for their favorites to choose the 3 dog semi-finalists and 3 cat semi-finalists. These six semi-finalists (3 dogs and 3 cats) will be announced on the StarPet website on October 13, 2008.

The six semi-finalists will receive round trip airfare to New York City for a three-day/two-night stay in a New York hotel. They will compete to become the grand prize winners (StarPet Dog and StarPet Cat) at a luncheon gala in New York on November 10, 2008 where they will perform their special talents before a celebrity panel of judges that will include Bash Dibra and who will chose the final StarPet Dog and StarPet Cat winners. The grand prize winners will receive representation by Bash to secure television, stage, print or film roles for their dog or cat.
