Kevin Keegan Brings Soccer Skills to Center Parcs
(PRWEB) May 22, 2008 -- Center Parcs have announced an exciting new partnership with Kevin Keegan and his Soccer Circus (http://www.centerparcs.co.uk/discover/news/kevin_keegan_soccer_circus.jsp). Keegan, the current manager of Newcastle United and the only Englishman to be named European Footballer of the year twice, will be opening his first football skills centre at the Center Parcs Whinfell Forest in Cumbria on Saturday May 17.
Kevin Keegan will be at Center Parcs to launch this very exciting addition to the Whinfell Forest village. During this week, guests on their short break (http://www.centerparcs.co.uk) have the chance to meet with Kevin and benefit from his insider knowledge of the 'beautiful game', while they test themselves with his dedicated training concept.
The Soccer Circus will be the only other training concept outside its original venue in Scotland. A new permanent activity at Center Parcs Whinfell Forest, guests will have the opportunity to take part in the world's first ever fully interactive football attraction, which engages visitors in a series of exciting, immersive football challenges. The training programs put on by Soccer Circus are some of the most respected in the world, as they have become known for helping to improve anyone's game - even England favourite David Beckham has sharpened his skills with Keegan's program.
The Soccer Circus concept has been developed by the former European footballer Kevin Keegan, and others who have invested in excess of £6m and over 10 years working on research and development. The original Soccer Circus was opened in Renfrew, Scotland, and is now recognised throughout the world as a truly unique attraction - creating interest from all corners of the globe.
It's never too late to develop your football skills and Soccer Circus appeals to a wide audience of all ages from seven to seventy so great for the whole family. The concept is based on three main skill challenges; 'On the Spot' - for control and dribbling; 'Pass and receive' - for accuracy and great touch and 'In the zone' - combines both skills in a more intensive challenge.
The partnership of Center Parcs and Soccer Circus gives families the opportunity to test and improve their skills together whilst on holiday (http://www.centerparcs.co.uk). Or give adults the opportunity to send their kids off for a day of football while they enjoy a relaxing day participating in the range of numerous activities or spending some down time in the Aqua Sana Spa.
