Full Sail University Announces Involvement With Production of National Lampoon Presents: RoboDoc

Winter Park, FL (PRWEB) May 10, 2008 -- Full Sail University (www.fullsail.edu) announces staff and facilities involvement with the production of National Lampoon Presents: RoboDoc, a 2008 feature film. The RoboDoc premiere will take place at the Hard Rock Live in Orlando, Florida on Saturday, May 10, 2008.

RoboDoc, directed by Stephen Maddocks, received a considerable amount of production assistance from the film department at Full Sail University, who also donated their Hollywood-style backlot and additional campus locations for a number of scenes in the film.

"It is an honor to have RoboDoc, a major feature film, be the first to utilize the same resources as our students," said David Franko, Program Director of Film, Full Sail University. "It showcases the professional style backlot we have available on campus and the real world use of the set."

In addition, Full Sail staff members: Supervising Sound Editor/Re-Recording Mixer Michael Orlowski, and Foley Supervisor/Co Re-Recording Mixer John Statzell, professionally mixed the final sound for the film in Full Sail's state-of-the-art Dubbing Stage.

"The film RoboDoc was a great success for Full Sail's Dubbing Stage, and a giant step forward for being the premiere post production sound facility in the Southeast," said Orlowski, Dubbing Stage Engineer, Full Sail University. "We are extremely proud of our team and thankful for all of the support and dedication."

RoboDoc was written by brothers Doug and Scott Gordon who are practicing medical doctors, which brings a sense of realism to the film's comedic plot. Several stars make up the cast including: David Faustino (Married With Children), Alan Thicke (Growing Pains), Michael Winslow (Police Academy), and introducing newcomer Will Haze as RoboDoc.
