Omni Communications Group Advances To National Addy Awards Competition

Springfield, IL (PRWEB) May 9, 2008 -- Creative work from advertising agency Omni Communications Group, Inc. in Springfield, Illinois (http://www.omniideas.com/) will now be forwarded for consideration in the national Addy Awards competition to be held in Washington D.C. in May 2008 after recently being selected as a winner at the district Addys competition. The Addy Awards are the world's largest advertising competition and are conducted by the American Advertising Federation, the oldest national advertising trade association. Omni won the prestigious Gold Addy Award for their Star De Azlan promotional brochure (http://www.omniideas.com/pages/portfolio/print/print5.html) in the sixth district, consisting of 17 local ad clubs in Illinois, Indiana and Michigan.

The Star De Azlan brochure was selected as a Gold Addy winner in the category of advertising for the arts and sciences and produced for Omni client Curb Records, one of Nashville, Tennessee's leading record companies. Omni was given the task of creating an identity for Curb Record's new recording artist to be used as an introduction to the radio industry for De Azlan's first single "She's Pretty". The visually striking brochure was designed to resemble an old-school record including a circle die cut, which opens to reveal photographs of the singer, her brief biography, her single CD, and an introductory DVD to communicate Star De Azlan's feminine style and traditional country sound.

"We are extremely pleased to continue to be recognized by the American Advertising Federation and the Addys for our creative work" says Jill Schuller, president of Omni. "The sixth district includes Chicago, so we are honored to be acknowledged at this higher level of competition." Omni Communications Group, Inc. is a full-service advertising agency and marketing consultant providing creative marketing solutions and strategic business communications for clients on a national, regional and local basis since 1992.
